It’s code on your page that describes your business in a standard format from schema.org, such as your name, address, phone and hours. Google says structured data gives it explicit clues about what a page means.
Not by itself. Google says it doesn’t guarantee that features using structured data will show up in search results. It helps search engines understand your business, so keep the details accurate.
For LocalBusiness, Google lists name and address as required, and recommends details like telephone, url, opening hours, geo coordinates and price range.
JSON-LD. Google says it’s the easiest format to add and keep up to date in most cases, and lists it as recommended, though all three formats work.
Test your page address in Google’s Rich Results Test, or paste the code into the Schema Markup Validator. Fix any critical errors. After publishing, the URL Inspection tool in Search Console shows whether Google can access the page.
