Questions about titles and descriptions

Google says there’s no limit on title length, but it shortens titles to fit the device width. Aim for the most important words first, so the meaning survives if it’s cut.
There’s no fixed limit either. Google truncates snippets to fit the screen, so put the key point and next step early. The meter shows a rough cut-off.
Google may rewrite title links to better describe the page, using headings, link text or other page text. A clear, accurate title makes that less likely.
Google creates snippets mainly from page content, and uses your meta description when it gives a more accurate summary. Descriptions that match the page get used more often.
No tool can guarantee that. Google changes its layout and decides what to show, so treat this as a close preview, not a promise.
